NUZ is a news aggregator that allows its users to customize what they want to see and read. Stay up to date with your current events with the way you want to, and get your news with an emphasis on you.
For this project, I was given one week to design a (made-up) news aggregator app, going through the processes of collecting research, sketching, wire-framing, and prototyping with Pop.
This was a small UX project that I worked on, creating a new product that users would be happy to use when reading the news. I started with obtaining as much information as I could by conducting surveys and interviews with a pool of people that regularly read the news.
From the data collected, I found out that users were more interested in being able to customize what they see and read for news. With this information, I began to brainstorm different features I could incorporate into the app. Then I began to sketch design ideas and get a basic design foundation to test with users by using a testing app called Pop. I performed a couple different tests (camera study and usability study) with various users. From the feedback I received, I went back to my designs and reiterated them from lo-fi to hi-fi, and making the changes I need to that would fit the users' needs.
